Explore YVR is a product of a group of students at SFU, who feel there is always something to do around Vancouver, you just have to know where to look. Explore YVR is designed to be a place where activities, events and experiences from other websites are brought together in a convenient format. We want your next family outing, date or getting together with friends to be easy, whether you are exploring alone, planning a date, hanging out with a friend, or taking a group out.
Our Goal
We want to make finding things to do around Metro Vancouver, easier, faster and more personalized. Visitors can browse by who they are travelling with, what interests they have, how much money they have, where they are going and what type of experience they want without having to go to several websites.
Our Mission
We’re here to bring interesting activities and experiences to locals and visitors in Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby and beyond. We want to make people’s searching less and spending more time enjoying what the city offers.
Our Vision
Our aspiration is to be a place of reference for Metro Vancouver activities. We want to dispel a myth that there’s nothing to do in Vancouver, whether it’s a cozy, indoor outing, or an outdoor adventure, a local event, date idea, or a group experience.
